We spent a great day in the French Quarter shooting Kandi’s bridal session. A lil chilly, but Kandi was a trooper that day! The amount of eye candy available in the French Quarter to shoot in front of is endless and so nice! Kandi wanted a lot from Jackson Square, which we did, and then moved around for some more fun. Kandi, you were awesome during your bridal shoot and thanks for welcoming in Brook Tood to shoot with me that day! A great photographer visiting our wonderful city.
Mandy and Michael had a fantastic wedding in January. The weather was not perfect that day, but it sure did not take anything away from the couple! They were still as happy as could be that day.
Mandy and her girls got dressed at their home with lots of gal talk, laughs and smiles that day. Mandy slipped her dress on and a new bride was here! Mandy was truly a beautiful bride and full of excitement. Their hair was done at Stardust on Magazine and the make-up was done by Katie Seghers of Pixie. They did a wonderful job for Mandy and her girls! The ceremony was held at St. Christopher in Metairie and then we headed to Chateau Country Club for the reception where After 8 rocked the house – along with Michael’s dad and Mandy singing during the night!! Never a dull moment with Mandy’s energy and spunk
I think she was right at home on that stage singing with the band! Their guests enjoyed the great band, good food and celebrating Mandy and Michael’s big day.
Mandy and Michael, congratulations!! Enjoy your images!
Lauren and Adam had a beautiful wedding on a cold, rainy day in January. But, the mood was still happy and exciting for everyone. Lauren looked so beautiful. She was funny because as she was getting dressed for her big wedding day, she and her bridesmaids and family were also cheering for the Saints in the playoff game! So, the adrenaline seemed to be going in the house! Lauren and Adam then had a sweet wedding ceremony at St. Dominic in Lakeview. Then, the party started! They had their reception at the City Park Pavilion with The Wiseguys entertaining all of their guests, who all had a great time that night. City Park is always such a great place for a reception! They made sure Lauren and Adam were taken care of and enjoyed their reception with no worries.
The centerpieces and bouquets were done by Nola Flora. We also got to work with Melanie and Christine with Blink Video – always a great time together while working!
Great food, great guests, rocking music, lots of dancing and celebrations that night for Lauren and Adam!! I know they and their families enjoyed every second of the night. Congratulations guys!
WOW, what am amazing wedding for Liz and Jeff in December. Beautiful, sweet, loving, smiling couple. So many details for their wedding and so much time and effort to make their day flawless and truly spectacular. I got to work with some amazing wedding vendors that night and truly enjoyed it. Terry Cambise with A Soiree (504-259-6815) was the wedding coordinator for their wedding and did a fantastic job. Liz and Jeff both got dressed at the grand Roosevelt Hotel, a hotel that the city is so happy has reopened! Liz had a beautiful suite at the hotel and spent some great girl time hanging out with her bridesmaids while getting their hair and make-up done and getting in their dresses. Celeste with Make Me Up did Liz’s make-up and Warren English, 504-232-3863, did an amazing job on Liz’s hair. Liz looked absolutely stunning and she truly was a happy bride. And her bridesmaids – some good looking gals dressed to the nine!
Liz and Jeff chose to see each other before their ceremony and had some sweet moments on the rooftop of the Roosevelt. I love those images of them during that time. I love how couples forget that anyone else is around and have those first few moments together. Makes me so happy! After grabbing some quick shots of Liz and Jeff and finishing all of the family shots, we headed to the beautifully holiday decorated lobby at the Roosevelt. Such a magical feeling in the lobby during Christmas.
Their ceremony was held at Immaculate Conception/Jesuit Church on Baronne. Such an ornate and historical church for a beautiful wedding ceremony. I grabbed a few shots of those sweet, lovingly looks while kneeling at the altar. The guests were then treated to a gorgeous decorated reception at The Foundry in the warehouse district. Such a great place for a party for everyone to enjoy. The Foundry looked truly amazing that night with florals by George Newell, 985-386-8574, uplighting, fabric draperies and gorgeous linens by CHL Linens, and a sweet looking lounge area in the back complete for guests to enjoy. Every detail was superb and beautifully done.
Liz and Jeff’s family and friends were treated to the sounds of the great Deacon John. Deacon John and his band kept the crowd dancing all night long. Liz and Jeff truly enjoyed themselves. Their cake was done by Zoe’s and one word for their cake – WOW. Just WOW. And video of their wedding was done by the truly talented Studio Vieux Carre. I love working with Terry and Joe!
Liz and Jeff, your wedding was fantastic and I truly enjoyed it and all of the fantastic vendors I got to work with that night. You certainly put on a great party that night! Congratulations!
