Sara & Jonas Wedding 4/4

What an amazing and beautiful wedding.  I absolutely LOVED working with Sara and Jonas – they are truly a sweet, loving, laid back and cute couple.  We did an incredible engagement session in New Orleans and then I got to do Sara’s bridal session in some fun New Orleans scenes.  They were up for anything and let me do what I wanted – which I love You can see their engagement and bridal images further down this blog.

Their wedding day was fantastic.  It stared with Sara and the beautiful gals getting dressed at the The Fairfax House,  which was amazing.  The grounds were pristine, the rooms were perfect.  Sara looked amazing and is such a beautiful, sweet girl.  Once all of the girls were dressed, we got to use the grounds of the Fairfax House before the guests arrived to do some fun stuff.  And, of course Jonas was looking very handsome and very happy, especially when he saw Sara walking down the aisle.

The ceremony was very sweet and personal with Sara’s brother officiating.  The ceremony took place on the grand front porch right when the sun was setting.  And, yes, Sara got teary eyed during her vows 

The reception then followed in the back of the Fairfax House, which was beautifully decorated by Valerie with Southern Fete Event Planning.  Valerie had every little detail taken care of for Sara and Jonas so that they could truly enjoy their day and have no worries.  Valerie hung mason jars with candles from the balcony on the front porch right above the ceremony site and the mason jar theme carried into the backyard.  Each table was decorated with flowers and mason jars lit with candles.  Valerie and the couple also chose to put a cool lounge area with cool white sofas under the beautiful grand oak trees.  The lounge area also had mason jars with candles hanging from the oak trees to give it that glow at night.  Such a cool, little touch to make their wedding different.  

And, my favorite was the candy buffet!!!  With all white candy or chocolate – yum!!
