Jessica and Doug had a gorgeous wedding in October in New Orleans with their family and friends celebrating with them. Jessica and Doug got dressed at the beautiful Omni Hotel. Jessica was so relaxed on her wedding day and enjoyed it all. She wore her grandmother’s wedding dress that day which made for a very unique “something old” for her wedding. Doug and his groomsmen were having a great time chilling out at the hotel before the wedding, but they were a very entertaining group.
They had their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Academy of Sacred Heart chapel on St. Charles. Such a gorgeous place with the cutest chapel tucked away with beautiful window lighting and hardwood floors. Such a sweet Catholic ceremony with lots of smiles from Jessica and Doug. They then enjoyed their reception at the historical world-renowned Antoine’s Restaurant in the French Quarter, where their guests enjoyed French-Creole cuisine with awesome sounds from the band Groovy 7. Groovy 7 rocked the reception for Jessica and Doug and for all of their out of town guests enjoying their New Orleans wedding experience. But, Groovy 7 wasn’t the only people singing that night – groomsmen, bridesmaid, guests, Doug all joined in for singing of their own! Made a for a funny and interesting night with them.
The beautiful cake was done by Zoe’s. Zoe’s always has fantastic looking and tasting cakes. Doug got Jessica good with the wedding cake, so payback was in order. Jessica ended up getting Doug good with the chocolate so it looked much worse!! It was a mess on both of them, but they had fun doing it.
I think Jessica, Doug and all of their family and friends truly enjoyed the wedding. Congratulations guys and I enjoyed being a part of your wedding - your families were so much fun to be with!
