Loews Hotel Wedding ~ Jessica & Steven Wedding 5/28

What a beautiful May New Orleans wedding for Jessica and Steven.  They both started their day surrounded by friends and family while getting dressed in separate suites at the Loews Hotel.  I was able to hang out with the girls while my second shooter was capturing the moments for Steven and his guys.  It’s always a great time when the bride is getting ready.  The excitement and nervousness all at once, but true happiness.  Jessica was extremely laid back on her wedding day and was enjoying her close family and friends who joined her in the beautiful suite.  She was a beautiful bride with her hair done by Chelsey Walter and her makeup was done by Get Polished.  Her gorgeous flowers were done by Erin Steen.

After getting ready, we grabbed some family shots in the lobby with Jessica and then Steven.  They chose not to do a first look, so we had to maneuver the bride and groom a few times to make sure they didn’t see each other. But, all was accomplished and good.  Their ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Canal Boulevard.  What quaint, beautiful church.  Their service was very personal and the priest made sure to speak of things that they both enjoyed in life and the experiences he has had with the couple while preparing for their marriage.  They laughed and smiled while they spoke their vows and exchanged the wedding rings.  They are now husband and wife and it was time to party at the reception.

The reception was held in the ballroom back at the Loews Hotel.  I always love working at the Loews since it is a beautiful space and the staff is great and attentive.  Their guests were treated to good food, good drinks and good music by Four Unplugged.  By the end of the night, the dance floor was packed with people celebrating and dancing.  Jessica and Steven were certainly having a great time.
