Melissa & Thomas Wedding 4/25

Melissa and Thomas had a beautiful wedding in April.  Perfect weather for an outside spring wedding in New Orleans.  I got to hang out with the gals at the salon with everyone getting their hair and make-up done.  Then it was off to the hotel to get Melissa’s wedding dress on.  She looked beautiful and her make-up looked fabulous and dramatic, but perfect for a  wedding and not overdone.  We grabbed a few pics of Melissa and her gals and then off to the ceremony site where Melissa and Thomas had their first meeting!!  Yay.  You know how I love that.  Sun was setting, beautiful light, beautiful bride, groom smiling The ceremony and reception were both held at Champagne Palace in Elmwood.

You know when the groom REALLY loves the Hornets when he goes to a game the morning of the wedding (and thankfully they won!), has Hugo from the Hornets walk with him down the aisle and the groom’s cake has the Hornets on it.  Thomas was pretty happy with the Hornets having a small part in the wedding.  That was a first for me to have Hugo in the wedding.  And, the sweet little man who got the privilege of walking the bride down the aisle was Melissa’s son – you could tell he was very proud of that job and looked so cute with his mom.  The ceremony was done by a judge, who was a friend of Thomas’, which made it more personal for Melissa and Thomas.

There were a lot of people at their wedding!  Everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoy the wedding.  Melissa & Thomas, congratulations!!
