A fun loving cute couple! Alison and Billy had a fantastic wedding in May. Alison is full of life – smiling and goofing off and enjoying every minute. Their day started with the girls getting dressed at the Windsor Court Hotel in downtown New Orleans. Alison looked beautiful and her dress was perfect for her. And, I LOVE long lacey veils – it just adds a touch of elegance. Alison’s make-up was done by Katie Seghers with Pixie Cosmetics & Skincare (504-895-5571). I have worked with Katie before and she is very talented with make-up application. I then met Billy and his family at the church. The ceremony took place at First Presbyterian Church on Claiborne. I love the quaintness of this church with the amazing lighting and stained glass that add to the charm. Alison and Billy had lots of family members involved in their ceremony, which made it personal for them and added a special touch to their day.
The party then started at the Parkview Terrace in City Park. The Terrace was decorated with beautiful arrangements done by Keith Cascio (Blooms Floral). The cake was done by Haydels and I got to work with Suzy Marks Videography, which is always nice!! And, of course the house was a rockin’ with The Blue Meanies playing – never a dull moment with them that night!! You can tell Alison and Billy truly enjoyed their night with their family and friends from Louisiana and Georgia! They were so easy and fun to work with and I was entertained that night watching them party. And, yes, I don’t know the meaning behind the tradition of putting a centerpiece in the middle of the dance floor, along with other special items, but it was funny and new!

They were an awesome family — don’t recall any older women standing in chairs at Laura’s though! New Orleans must bring that out!!
