Elegant Bridal Session at Longue Vue | Christen Bridal

The day started covered in fog but finally the sun peeked in for Christen’s bridal session at Longue Vue in Metairie. The grounds were still wet, so we were limited on moving around too much. Her Vera Wang bridal gown was just beautiful and unique. When I first saw Christen in the gown I gasped – with being around wedding dresses all of the time I never usually have that reaction, but this gown I did. It was different and I loved, loved the bottom of the dress as the material just flowed in different directions which gave it pizazz! Christen, you were a beautiful and sweet bride and great to work with!

Wow. Yep, that’s one way to explain Chrissie’s bridal session. She looked amazing and, can I say incredibly wonderful to photograph. Chrissie decided to do all of her bridal session inside to avoid the heat and keep the dress as clean as possible. What better place than the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel where her wedding reception was to be held. But, we did eventually make it to the rooftop for some amazing views. There was a strange cloud situation out there, but of course us photographers love the clouds (can you say huge softbox and amazing lighting??) Heather with Flawless Bride did a perfect job on Chrissie’s hair and makeup! I just show up and photograph so I am lucky that my clients choose amazing vendors to work with. Makes my job easy

I enjoyed spending time with Ashley for a little while in the French Quarter for her bridal session. Ashley has one of those personalities that just makes you smile and laugh. She definitely knows how to enjoy herself, does not take a lot of small things seriously and I love that!! I’m excited I finally get to share some images from her bridal session. Make up was done by Ashley Melzer Sievert.

What a fun time with Lindsay and her mom in the French Quarter. And wow what a dress full of elegance and sass. Loved the feather in the hair after taking the veil out … it added a touch of pizazz to her look. Lindsay, you looked beautiful. Glad I can finally share your bridal session images after your wedding!

I had the best time with Christyn and her mom for her bridal session in the French Quarter. Lots of laughter and giggles. Christyn is really great in front of the camera and definitely can bring out the sassiness. I so loved her bridal “look” with no veil, unique dress and custom made necklace. She made a statement with her own taste and style and it looked awesome in the photographs. Christyn, you have the best laugh and smile and you and your mom are sweet as ever! Loved working with you and having fun for your bridal session.

New Orleans bridal session ~ Alicia’s Bridals

It took Alicia a little while to loosen up, but thanks to two beers from Vaughn’s she was good to go! We found some great colors walking around Marigny in New Orleans. Our greatest find was the antique truck and of course the grafitti wall. I love getting my clients involved on location choices … makes it fun. Alicia, you rocked owning that truck!!
