Sweet Vintage Court Wedding | Kellie and Stanley Wedding

I had the pleasure of being a part of Kellie and Stanley sweet wedding at Vintage Court in March. They were so excited that it was finally their wedding day and they were getting married!! Kellie and Stanley have known each other since they were little, and Stanley was Kellie’s brother’s best friend. Different paths in life and previous marriages still led them together and they finally came together later in life. They are so in love and so happy to be together and the tears shed during the ceremony were truly a sweet moment. Love has a path for all of us.

Jennifer and Michael are so sweet and so easy to relate to. They were so laid back and we had some laughs while goofing off at their engagement session in the French Quarter. I loved getting to know more about them and chatting about their life, how they met and their wedding plans. I am looking forward to their wedding at Latrobe’s on Royal in July!

Chic Old Metairie Engagement Session | Katie and Marko Engagement

Seriously loved Katie and Marko, the location, the light, their connection and how relaxed their engagement session was. One of my all time favorites since they were “them” and them “together” with no added fluff and they made their location very personal. I LOVE that. Everything about them looks effortless, happy, peaceful and serene. They were of course nervous at first (like everyone), but then they just focused on each other and I didn’t have to do much except capture it all. Seriously guys, just all around awesome. PLUS, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THEIR PUPPY. Isn’t he the cutest thing??

Fun Tchefuncta Country Club Wedding | Claire and Justin Wedding

Never a dull moment working with my wonderful bride Claire and her sweet groom Justin. Claire is just hilarious, playful and full of personality and, Justin you will never be bored with Claire around! What a great young couple to work with, being a part of their wedding, and getting to know their families. They were surrounded and supported by great family and friends who were a lot of fun on the dance floor.

Bayou Engagement Session | Lindsay and Chase Engagement

Oh what fun I had at Lindsay and Chase’s engagement session at Chase’s parents’ house on the bayou in Slidell right before sunset. Sunset on the bayou is always gorgeous and I love Southern Louisiana landscapes. And what a beautiful piece of property to enjoy … and photograph on! We had a bamboo tunnel, moss hanging from beautiful southern oak trees, the bayou, the dock, a boat ride and some fun on a swing. They are just precious together and were a lot of fun and up to anything I suggested. I did get a little nervous while shooting off of the boardwalk with the bayou area right behind me … you never know down in southern Louisiana what may crawl out of that water! But they assured me it was all good. I am looking forward to their wedding in October, which will be on the same property with a beautiful lit tent. Can’t wait!

Classic Melrose Mansion Bridal Session | Claire Bridals

With nasty rain outside, we thankfully were doing Claire’s bridal session inside at the beautiful Melrose Mansion on Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans. Claire and her family were just a joy to work with – amazing people with a good heart and just so sweet. Claire was just a complete hoot to work with – she was so much fun and we were giggling away during her bridal session. She is definitely one of a kind and her personality cracks me up – so honest and upfront which I LOVE (I am the same way)!

Melrose Mansion is just gorgeous and chic with their contemporary and modern style with wonderful southern hospitality. The mansion was completely renovated recently and you definitely need to check it out – the rooms and grounds are perfect for events or a romantic getaway.
